Dear Business Partner,
The year 2020 will certainly go in the history books as one of the most unusual and difficult for all of us. We all headed into the year with great expectations and plans, which quickly went by the wayside as we adjusted and prepared to keep our employees and those we support safe and healthy. COVID-19 has affected Lexington in many ways but we are grateful to our dedicated employees who have done amazing work to keep themselves and the people we support safe and healthy. We hope you and your team have been able to manage through these times, and that we will all come out of this stronger together.
We started the year planning events that would bring the community together to celebrate all that we do at Lexington and at the Nigra Arts Center and to help us raise the funds to keep doing what we do best - supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live rewarding and fulfilling lives.
While we had set dates for our annual golf tournament, fashion show and Gala Night Out, we quickly learned that the original dates would not be possible and how we hold these events would have to change.
Today we have a renewed plan and we need your help more than ever.
The Lexington Foundation Night Out will become the NIGHT IN! The event will still take place on September 17 but will become a “virtual event” with many unique features, similar to what has made our event the premier fun-filled event of years past. We will miss the 300+ guest who join us each year in person but we have created imaginative and fun ways for our guests to participate while helping us celebrate and raise funds to help us do what we do at Lexington. See the attached flyer for details about the event.
We need your help! We need you to help sponsor the NIGHT IN! Your sponsorship will allow us to host this event and to celebrate all that Lexington continues to do for the men, women and children we support with developmental disabilities.
You will see information about Sponsorship Opportunities for the NIGHT IN that outlines the ways your sponsorship support can help us. COVID-19 has truly changed the way we operate and how we will do things in the future. Lexington has continued to provide the safest and most robust supports possible during this crisis and with your help, we will continue to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities every day.
Please contact us if you’re interested in any of these great opportunities or if you have any questions or need further information. They can both also be reached at the same phone number as mine.
Thank you for your continued support of the Paul Nigra Center for Creative Arts, Transitions and the other programs of the Arc Lexington!
Best,
Shaloni Winston
